Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
Student entry to Fisher Magnet Lower is at 7:30 a.m. When the weather is cold or rainy, we allow students to come into school before the start of school to wait in the halls. Grades K through 4 enter at the front door of the school at the State Fair and Crusade. All parents should schedule an appointment to see a teacher in the building.
Preschool parents and students enter at the back of the building through the Preschool door. Parents may sign their students in and leave out of the same door only. If Preschool parents need to go to other places in the building, they should enter at the front door to obtain a visitor’s pass before proceeding to any classroom. Teachers will be called by office staff to see if they can conference with you at that time. If they cannot see you at that time, you should make an appointment to see them during their preparation period and you will be called.
Dismissal for Preschool starts at 2:30 p.m. at the back of the building.
Dismissal for Kindergarten students is at 2:30 p.m. at door 5 on Crusade Street.
Dismissal is at 2:40 p.m. for Grades 1 – 2 at door 15 on East State Fair Street along with Mr. Rogers's 3rd grade homeroom class.

PowerSchool
Stay Informed on Academic Progress
The PowerSchool parent portal provides parents with direct access to student data via the Internet. Using a confidential ID number and password provided by their child's school, parents can create their own PowerSchool account using a web browser or the PowerSchool app and view their child’s data, such as progress reports, attendance records, report cards, transcripts and more. During account creation, parents can create their own unique username and password. The credentials listed on the form from the school will link the student to their parent's account.
